There doesn't appear to be a date on the can, but there is a QR code to look up the date on the brewery website: "02-16-2022"
From the can it also states: "BATCH #621-2"
Appearance: The body is completely opaque. It has an orange tang colored body which has some variation in shade but remains a vibrant orange the whole time. The head is short and lumpy, looking like a pile of unevenly melted marshmallows that would be found in a cup of hot cocoa. The head is an interesting shade of orange. The beer looks as odd and strange as it does look cool. It looks a bit like an alien version of an orange julius.
Aroma: It smells just like an orange julius. It is loaded with this vanilla orange aroma. Another thing this is reminiscent of is an orange creamsicle. There is a light floral aroma to the beer too which smells a bit like lavender.
Taste: A big, bold, sweet vanilla flavor hits the palate right up front. It quickly moves into this sweet orange flavor. The flavors are pretty set on just vanilla and orange, but the sweetness changes a bit as it moves across the palate and from sip to sip. It is very, very sweet.
Mouthfeel: The body feels medium-light and smooth, leaning closer to light than medium. It is very easy to drink. The sweetness does hamper drinkability just a touch, and the body feels a bit light but as a whole it drinks enjoyably.
Overall: The beer smells and tastes awesome, although it is very sweet. The label states that it is a "SOUR ALE WITH CARA CARA ORANGE PUREE, WHIPPED CREAM, GRAHAM CRACKER, VANILLA, AND MILK SUGAR." Aside from the completely absent graham cracker, the other advertised ingredients seem to be in this beer. As a whole it smells and tastes a lot like an orange creamsicle. This would be an awesome beer to drink at the pool or while hanging out at a hot beach. I would definitely buy it again. I would recommend it to anyone, but especially to those with a sweet tooth and those who enjoy orange creamsicles.
