Sour ale with Raspberry, floss sugar, Trix cereal, marshmallow, vanilla, and lactose
We partnered up with Weldworks brewing to bring you back a few years to when Trix Swirls yogurt was a thing! We focused on the berry and cotton candy swirl flavors and decided to throw an interesting twist at the collab. Sooooo...Weldworks brewed a berrylicous version with blueberry, blue raspberry syrup, vanilla, and lactose and we brewed a version with raspberry, pink floss sugar, marshmallow, vanilla, and lactose! If you are lucky, you will be able to get your hands on both and mix them together to create something truly beautiful!

So this is an older one, but I'm clearing out my refrigerator, and I should finally add it and rate it. I have had it before, of course. This is a pint can poured into a tulip.
Pouring it, it looks, well, like cough syrup. Cherry cough syrup. There was a nice pinkish head that faded quickly, leaving you to revel in the bubbly cherry-looking red drink. And it doesn't smell much better. It kind of smells... off. I think I do smell the raspberry, marshmallow, and vanilla, but it could just as well be the artificial flavors (Red 40 and all that in a beer, go figure).
Then, you try it and it's... well, let's just say there is a reason people eat crappy cereal for breakfast. It has a certain addictive quality to it. This is a unique one and a kettle sour to boot, so I'm not surprised it wasn't added, and I might be shaming myself by liking it. It has a reasonably tart flavor, sort of fluffy and marshmallowy, but heavily sugar on the back end. I like sugar, so that isn't a problem. It's like eating Trix - even though I haven't had Trix in ages. You just know it is. It's fairly light and has a sort of grainy texture to it, too. As it warms up, you can really get that marshmallowy hit.
Also, this isn't the Weldwerks half of the collab, since they did a blueberry version.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
