Aged 4 years
Ruby colored with gold highlights. 1 finger of head that quickly receded. Very little carbonation released post pour.
Faint cherry aroma.
Predominately tart cherry. Sage? Peeked through after coming to room temperature. No complexity or layers.
Moderate mouthfeel with some carbonation released on the tongue.
Interesting, good with food.

Waxed flip-top 750 from Portage Park Food & Liquor. 2017 vintage
Very dark amber with saturated gold highlights, slight haze, loose bubbles that eventually build into a finger of foam.
Aroma is mellow oakiness and a light fruity acidity.
Taste is tart and fruity with an interesting herbal sage note and lemon-lime from the lingering hops. Oaky and dry in the aftertaste. Vague sour cherry but it’s way back behind all the other flavors. Medium bodied with light carbonation, mellow supple feel, maybe a touch undercarbed. Overall it’s pretty nice and has aged well. Would like to try fresh someday to compare, it was enjoyable.
