Brewed with rye and oats and aged on charred oak logs from our woods, this pale ale has a malty body and a fruity hop character from Denali dry-hopping. Brewed in small batches and bottle-conditioned with live yeast in our earth-beamed cellar.

Pours a cloudy somewhat opaque orange color. Thin white head dissipates quickly leaving some spotty foam on top of the beer. Aroma has notes of peppery yeast, some oak notes, earthy hops, touch of orange and orange rind. Taste has notes of orange, orange rind, oak, earthy hop notes, and some lingering yeast on the back end. A rather rustic flavor profile but it's quite nice. Feel is light and smooth with moderate sprightly carbonation. Rather dry finish. Overall a nice rustic pale ale.
