Pours a black color. 1/4 inch head of an off-tan color. Good retention and decent lacing. Smells of strong sweet malt, slight roasted malt, wood, hint of oatmeal, and a hint of spicy hops. Fits the style of an American Porter. Mouth feel is smooth and clean, with a low carbonation level. Tastes of chocolate, hint of coffee, strong sweet malt, wood, hint of oatmeal, and a hint of spicy hops. Overall, good aroma, great feel and body, good blend.
