surprised to see such low scores on this seemingly rare unblended lambic from a single vessel. this is a cool thing to encounter on draft, a massively complex iteration of the famed boon lambic when it warms up, and more carbonated than i am used to a lot of them being, which is always attractive to me in this style, i like them bright like this, it adds to the regal nature of the beer for me, and this one really sings. blonde in color with a light cloudiness under a full white head. it smells like very mature lambic, both bretty and bacterial, musty and dank, basementy, even cave or dungeon-esque, wet and woody, but with a contrasting floral element, botanical and bitter and dry, its mouthwatering and exciting, a little vermouth or something to the oak as well, vinous and interesting. the flavor is great here too, wheaty and sour, lots of wild brett character, and an almost dusty maturity. dried autumn leaves decomposing, fancy white wine, light peach and elderflower, its gorgeous! i dont know why this isnt getting more love, i think its a sexy glass of beer and another winner in this line of single foeder boon lambics!
