The early reviews on this one are very low, so was expecting a pretty poor brew to be honest.
Pours very clear and quite watery looking, but does keep a reasonable foamy head.
Aroma is florally, maybe a bit zesty, but all very subtle.
Taste is all elderflower and grape, super sweet, which I'm sure will not be to many BA reviewers liking.
The feel is indeed watery, and just adds to the confusion. It is very easy to drink at 5%abv, it goes down like lemonade.
Overall it tastes and smells pretty good, but it is simply a confused beer and I don't see the point (or the market) for such a brew.
It is one of the most expensive Leffe's on the shelf, and no denying it's individuality, but borderline as to whether I'd class this as a beer or not to be honest.
....as I work my way through the 750ml bottle, I am tweaking my BA score on a downward trend. Usually beers get better, but this shows it's faults as the previous reviewer stressed....might have gotten away with it in a 250ml serving.

From Belgiuminaabox. 75 cl. In Grimbergen glass. Playing Blackwell's Epiphany. Leffe's blonde usual sugaryness with a grapes touch that at first seems nice but later tires. Too big sized, in a shorter format could improve. A bit watery

Not great or even really that good, but better than expected. Would classify this one as a dessert beer as it's reasonable sweet.
