It appears of an amber colour, under a head of foam persistent on average.
Aroma of malt, caramel, honey, vanilla, yeast and spices.
Caramel prevails on taste, with traces of orange, banana and bitter traces; the aftertaste is a bit spicy at the beginning, but sweet.
It is a little buttery beer, not particularly sparkling.

On tap in Pamplona, Spain, it pours amber color with a 1 finger creamy tan head that faded slowly and left very good spotty lacing. It’s called Roja here.
Tastes and smells very sweet and malty, with roasted grains, caramel, toffee, faint brown sugar, candied sugar, light floral hops and butterscotch. Smooth and relatively easy to drink for a complete European malt bomb.

At bar Viriato, Sevilla. On tap, in leffe glass. With Viriato burger. At first it seems soft and nice, but in the long run you get a bit tired of it sweetness and the alcohol makes you a bit dizzy. In Spanish this is called Leffe Roja. Only on tap

I tasted this one on tap, in a Leffe glass. It pours an amber-salmon colour, with a creamy pinky head. Aroma is floral, spicies (cardamome?), cherries, acid, but with some sweetness. Silky flavor with a bit sour ending. Taste of cherries, cinnamon, spicies.
