12 oz can purchased at the brewery just last week.
Appearance. Clear golden colored body with a decent white head.
Aroma. Strong for the style with spicy/earthy hops, bready grains and a touch of lemon.
Flavor. Tasting adds a very well matched mix of sweet grain and bitter hop notes.
Feel. Very smooth medium body.
Overall. Exemplary blonde ale.

A: Pours a relatively clear pale to medium golden yellow in color with slightly heavier than moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate lemon yellow + straw yellow highlights. The beer has a three finger tall dense pillowy foamy bright white head that slowly reduces to a handful of small patches of thick film surrounded by a large patch of medium thick film covering the remainder of the surface of the beer and a thick ring at the edges of the glass. Moderate to significant amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Light to moderate aromas of pale + grainy + bready malts with a light amount of grainy sweetness. Hints of grassy + earthy hops.
T: Upfront there are light to moderate flavors of pale + grainy + bready malts with a very light amount of grainy sweetness. That is followed by very light flavors of grassy + earthy hops which contribute a very light amount of lingering bitterness.
M: Light to medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation. Initially slightly crisp with a hint of softness in the finish.
O: Easy to drink with well hidden alcohol as well as a light + crisp + refreshing mouthfeel. Enjoyable for a generally fairly boring style and a beer that I could have a couple...
