Canned 05/11/18
Appearance - Pours hazy and dull straw yellow in color with a white, near finger width head. Sub-par retention results in a mostly barren surface with a thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. No lacing.
Smell - Bright, citrusy aroma hits the nose as soon as the can is popped. Lemon, lime, tangerine, pineapple, hints of cereal. Almost smells like Fruit Loops.
Taste - Follows the nose, but more subdued. Juicy bright citrus. Prominent lemon with lesser tangerine. Hints of peach and pineapple. Faint malt undertone that's bready with lesser caramel. Mid-taste brings a hint of lemony pith bitterness and it rides into the finish. Almost has a chemical lemon aftertaste.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with low carbonation. Slick and easy to drink at first but quickly falls a tad flat as it dries out into a lightly harsh finish.
Overall - Good brew, but I'm not sure how much of this I could drink. Halfway through this pint and the flavor profile is getting a bit tiresome with the lemony brightness.
