Canned 09/10/18
Appearance - Pours hazy and dirty yellow in color with an off-white, near finger width head. Sub-par retention results in a mostly barren surface with a razor thin ring of suds around the edge of the glass. A few small spots make up the lacing.
Smell - Citrus with a hint of wheat and very distant cream.
Taste - Follows the nose. Mild but sweet, bright orange flavor with lesser wheat and faint cream. Touch of caramel sweetness. Finishes in much the way it starts, with a hint of citrus tartness.
Mouthfeel - Medium-bodied with fair, tingly carbonation. Silky, slightly creamy texture makes this an easy drinker.
Overall - Not much of a 'milkshake' IPA. The vanilla is barely even noticeable. Smooth, crushable beer but it doesn't deliver much on the promise of the label.
