Canned on 11/1/19. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours almost black with a khaki head that fades leaving nice retention and lacing. The aromas are malt forward. Some cocoa powder and marshmallow. The flavors follow the nose. More cocoa powder along with some chocolate. More marshmallow. Mild and subtle hints of smoke. It's not bitter. There's a subtle sweetness. Nice malt backbone. Alcohol goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is light-bodied with moderate to active carbonation. It's sharp, crisp, smooth and easy to drink.

This is a pretty solid oatmeal stout. It's a classic and traditional example of the style. It's not flashy, but it's not supposed to be. Not bad at all.

Form the 22 oz bottle in a snifter. This solid little brew pours a nice
deep brownish black with a thick fluffy head of long lingering foam
and nice lacing. Nose of subtle coffee and chocolate malts with
some subtle dark fruit notes. Flavors follow the nose with
a hint of dark fruit and mild coffee notes over a bed of dark
chocolate malts with a goodly amount of roast and a hint
of herbal hops. Nice mouth feel; medium body, medium
carbonation, and a nice roasted finish.

Overall a solid little brew from a new to me brewery

Cheers

Having this on-tap. Served in a pint glass, this beer draws a very dark brown, almost black color with some deep ruby highlights around the edges when held up to the light. Has a tan head that's about half an inch thick when first served that settles to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass, some surface foam and decent lacing. Aromas of toasted caramel and chocolate notes along with some coffee hints and earthy hop notes. Taste is pretty much the same, with strong roasted, slightly bready, caramel malt sweetness along with some Chocolate and a bit of black coffee. Has a bit of earthy hops that give this a little bitterness. Has a fairly crisp, yet smooth and slightly creamy, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Easy to drink in a good way and worth a try.
