Poured out of a 12 oz can into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a very clear, medium golden color with a white head that's over an inc thick when first poured. Has some streams of little bubbles continuously and fairly rapidly rising to the beer's surface. Head eventually settles to a very thick ring lining the inside of the glass along with a very thick surface coating of surface foam and good lacing. Aromas of some slightly toasted, bready malts with a decent amount of caramel sweetness that gives way to some floral and somewhat piney hops. Has a slightly toasted, bready, biscuity, malts with some caramel sweetness that is followed by a decent floral and somewhat piney hop bitterness. Good balance of flavors, but the hop bitterness does dominate the overall flavor profile a bit. Has a mainly crisp, also somewhat smooth, medium bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a clean finish, and the hoppy flavors linger for a nice aftertaste. A decent IPA here.
