Appearance - Pours a cloudy peach colour with three fingers of foamy white head.
Smell - orange flesh and peel, wheat malts, floral and leafy hops, and lemon.
Taste - sweet and tart orange flesh and peel followed by the wheat malts. The floral and leafy hops come next followed by the lemon.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Finishes with a slight bitterness from the hops.
Overall - A refreshing flavoured Kölsch. The orange is by no means artificial, which makes this an easy summer "brunch" favourite.

650ml bottle, the March release in this brewery's 20th anniversary-celebrating, year-long bomber series. Made with blood oranges added to their Kölsch, I would imagine, with a heyday Audrey Hepburn image gracing the label.
This beer pours a murky, medium apricot amber colour, with two fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and somewhat fizzy off-white head, which leaves very little in the way of any sort of lace near the glass as it quickly blows off.
It smells of mixed citrus flesh (orange, tangerine, and white grapefruit), grainy and crackery pale malt, a bit of flinty stoniness, and some very, very tame earthy, floral, and musty green hop bitters. The taste is semi-sweet blood orange and its domestic counterpart, bready and doughy pale malt, a touch of caramel sweetness, plain Pez candies, and more well understated leafy and weedy verdant hoppiness.
The carbonation is fairly laid-back in its insouciant-seeming frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and more or less smooth, as the heady orange essence starts to encroach into Booster Juice territory. It finishes off-dry, the orange trying to keep up appearances, but you just know that it's time for a re-up.
Overall, this is a certainly pleasant and enjoyable fruited-up brew, the semblance to the titular morning boozing not lost on me. Maybe the bubbles aren't quite as fine as yer typical Champers, but it all seems to work out with the complex citrus element. Another winner, and not just in the kitschy marketing angle.
