18 months - maybe 2 years - maybe more on this 16 ounce can.
Pours a ruddy amber colour with scant head - swirling gives a few brief khaki bubbles.
Aroma initially a bit fruity, but as warmed notes of date, fig, caramel, and even some maple admixed with whiskey barrel come out.
Sweet malty flavour - caramel, date, brown sugar, maple with a slightly boozy woody kick; a touch of weedy bitterness at the back.
Medium full mouthfeel - sweet and boozy warmth. A very nice sipper that developed as warmed.
