The latest (emphasis on the 'late') seasonal from Yukon, available only on-tap at the brewery, and luckily enough, at an upscale diner a short walk from my place, much farther south in Edmonton.
This beer appears a clear medium golden yellow hue, with a thin cap of fizzy white head (could just be the generous resto pour), which leaves a few specks of lace as everything moves lower in the glass. It smells mildly of crackery, bready malt, some aged lemon, and subdued grassy hops. The taste is a bit more opened - cereal grain, earthy citrus, and more grassy, weedy hops. The carbonation is a wee bit above average, the body tending to the light side, and maintains a zinginess throughout. It finishes fairly dry, some earthy, grassy hops closing out the show.
A decent pilsner, not really pushing any intensity buttons with me, but that's fine for the intent of this brew - easy summer drinking, with just enough going on to keep your taste buds honest.
