Tried this on-tap at Yukon Brewing (January 2012); basing my review on the growler I purchased.
Appearance - Dark cola black in colour. Pours with a dense mocha head, about 1-2 finger width. Slight lacing left on the glass as you drink.
Smell - Roasted coffee beans, malt, little bit of oatmeal.
Taste - There's a very nice bitterness to this stout. The oatmeal can be picked up in the flavour, as well as the roasted notes.
Mouthfeel - Very smooth with a dry finish. Lighter than a traditional stout, almost similar to that of a porter.
Overall - I was very excited to try this session brew by Yukon Brewing. The aromas and flavours are quite refreshing. Could use a bit of a heavier body to make this a bit richer. A nice stout with easy drinkability.
