Amber with white froth. 4
Butterscotch! And a bit of cut grass. 3.5
Bunch more butterscotch and honey, then shades of orange. 3.5
Crisp, fizzy, light+. 3.75
Dead. Oxidized and diacetyl, both. No signs of hops, ever. Maybe I shouldn’t review it, knowing the poor condition, but if you’re putting your beer on a (warm, bright) supermarket shelf, it should be built to last, and this ain't.
Drainpour. 3.25

Had on-tap at O'Dwyer's pub in Waterville, Ireland. Poured into a pint glass.
L: Pours a clear medium to light golden color. 2 fingers of fizzy white head. Minimal lacing.
S: Grains and mild hops.
T/F: Tastes more like a lager than a pale ale... grains up front with a fain piney hop presence towards the finish. Medium body... clean.
O: A pretty unexciting beer. Not bad, not great... easily sessionable, and again... tastes more like a lager than the pale ale it's billed as.
