Hoppy Farmhouse Ale brewed with Kviek, which is a traditional farmhouse yeast. Citra and Amarillo hops highlight and complement the lightly tart fruit flavors created by the Kviek during fermentation.

On tap at brewery (hoppy farmhouse):
Looks a bit like a highly hazed IPA, bruise peach mango orange juice. Head is nice an creamy, producing strong lacing.
Overall, this comes across as a no-IBU hazy pale, with just a hint of straw and pepper to not discount the “farmhouse” half of the style proclaimed on the brewery board.
There’s a little mango with skin hop juice up front, backed with a hint of citrus. A more neutral grain flavor breaks this before the earthy and somewhat hazy-like notes take over. Just a slight bit of pepper.
This grew on me a little. The flavors are subtle, but I’m left thinking if the hop/haze was taken out, could this be a fine saison?
