Very sweet nitro effect on the pour. Settles to a rich dark brown that you can almost see through. The bone colored head is thick, and dense, and creamy. Great retention and average lacing. Aroma is subdued but has some dark roasts and a hint of coffee. The coffee really comes through on the palate, almost to the point of overwhelming any other flavors. Some dark roasts come through and some bitterness that seems more from the hops than the coffee. Mouthfeel is just a little thin, maybe even close to watery.
