Super dry and effervescent with loads of hops. Bubbly mouthfeel, light body, and low bitterness with fruity, aromatic hop character.

Eight & Sand Beer Co. "Parlor Car"
1 Pint can, "CANNED ON 12/19/18 11:42 HAPPY NEW YEAR"
$3.99 @ Roger Wilco, Pennsauken, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a hazy yellow-gold body beneath a two finger thick head of fluffy white foam. The aroma isn't that bright, but it's fruity in the way that many of the other Brut IPAs I've tasted have been. It's got sweetish golden malt, apples, soft berries and citrus (mainly grapefruit), some floral notes, and just a hint of pine. On to the flavor, it's pretty much the same. I sometimes think there's some white grape in a lot of Brut IPAs, and I do find some here, but there's not that much. It is fuller flavored than some though, and it should be at 7% abv., and it's also a bit more bitter than usual, although sweeter at the same time. 20 to 40 IBUs seems to be the norm but this pushes that just a little bit. I don't know if it's quite 50 but it's more than 40, but in the end it's essentially balanced overall. It's not as dry in the finish as some, and some malt lingers on the palate which is a little disappointing but I'd still call it a Brut IPA as opposed to something like an extra strong APA. Looking back the head retention was OK and there's some lacing left behind but not that much. In the mouth it's medium bodied with a median carbonation level. Overall it's pretty decent. I'd like to see it a little crisper and drier, but I can live with it.
