Dark, coffee brown body topped with a dense and creamy head, one-finger thick; full sheet of lacing coats the glass. The nose encompasses all the ingredients listed on the label: chili, coffee, cinnamon and vanilla along with a sweet tequila point of interest. The flavor mirrors the aroma with a stronger presence of Añejo tequila. Heavy body; soft and silky; some low-key chili heat; gently sweet mouthfeel throughout.
This is a killer stout, doing an excellent job of mixing and balancing the base stout with adjuncts and tequila barrel aging.
