Foraged through the beer fields and unearthed this pint can. Now, let's put its contents into a clear glass liter mug for the visual. The color is a deep dark rose, toward the opaque side. The short lived head was a lighter, more traditional rose. There's quickly no head nor glass lacing. The smell is sour and vaguely fruity, but nowhere near poignant. The taste follows the nose in that it is mildly sour and lightly flavored. It would taste better with more Boysenberry flavor, but that would probably turn the sour into sweet and ruin the overall. This is nice. Although not boldly flavored, it does have ample body for a sour. But, if you're looking for a solid Boysenberry fix, this will only be a tease. Nonetheless, quite refreshing.
