Eight & Sand Beer Co. "American Dinosour"
1 pint can, "CANNED ON 05/07/20 14:23:47 JOSHUA"
$3.49 @ Shop Rite Wine & Spirits, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's pink. Well, actually ruby. I kind of expected that but you never know. It's "a sour ale brewed on sweet and tart cherries". The head is a light pink and it's holding quite well given that it's a sour beer. I'm not getting a lot out of the aroma. There's some kind of mineralish thing going on, and the lightest hint of fruit. It doesn't smell like it's going to be a sour beer. On to the flavor... it's not that sour. I'd say it's lightly tart, and there's a very nice berry-like flavor to it. I don't get cherry. Nope, had a few more sips and it doesn't really come across as cherry. There's a suggestion of it but I doubt anyone would taste this blind and say it definitively tastes of cherry - which is OK. It's nice and light and pleasant, and it certainly doesn't taste like it's 6% alcohol. In the mouth it's light-medium in body, and gently crisp. The carbonation is fairly low but the mild acidity adds to it a little bit. It's a refreshing, easy to drink beer that's be great for summer.
