From a tap, now inside a clear pint glass it arrives. A very opaque brew, it's a cloudy straw-amber colored affair, with very little white head. The smell is almost entirely citrusy hops, but mild, almost faint. To drink it is to find a solid body, but only subtle tastes. There's certainly enough malt within, as the body is very supple and smooth. But, it doesn't add much additional flavor, not even sweetness. The hopping is citrusy, but nothing close to biting, nor astringent. In this style, there's a fine line between mild and bland. This is pleasantly mild. Likely well short of the hopes of a hophead, this is a smooth version of the style. It's quite drinkable, but not outstanding.
