Served in an imperial nonic pint glass
This beer pours a hazy rust color with burnt orange highlights. It is topped with a couple inches of tan head that leaves nice lacing.
Malty aroma. I get biscuit and light citrus.
Toast and earthy flavors. Light citrus and mild bitterness
Medium bodied with a slightly chalky mouthfeel
I was hoping the addition of grapefruit peel would elevate this red ale. All it did was add a little citrus. It was a free beer, so I will never complain about that.
