This New England style ale pours a soft darkish yellow with a white head. The nose is subtle citrus from the hops. The flavor has notes of citrus and the bite of hops up front. Unfortunately, the flavor quickly disappears. The mouthfeel is appropriate for a NEIPA, and clean enough for another sip. I'd have liked to see more flavor throughout.

Sweet tropical hoppy, slightly malty, hint of earthiness, and an orange-grapefruit citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a earthy-hoppy, slightly malty, and a hint of grapefruit-citrus bitter finish. Again, the finish falls just a little short IMO...would love for that hop expression to extend all the way through the swallow. This has that classic Root & Branch softness on the palate. Good stuff!

Served in a can which i picked up at the brewery just a few days ago.

Appearance: opaque light gold color with a white head which initially rose almost one finger's length off the body.

Smell: smell: oatmeal aroma which comes off semi sweet to the nostrils.

Taste: Smooth creamy floral and hop feel. Oatmeal with doses of cane sugar if there is any. Malty but ridiculously smooth. I love how bitter meets sweet.

Mouth: Soft carbonation, so sticky with a very full body.

Overall: What can I tell you, I'm in lust. I don't want even want to share the glass with my wife, my problem...you grab this if it crosses your eyes. Personally I think this one sets the bar on what a quality DIPA should be, Salud!

Pours a milky yellow with a two inch fluffy Whitehead that settles slowly to a ring and leaves blotchy islands of lacing. The aroma has citrus as the predominant note, followed by tropical fruit along with some herbal undertones. Tastes of grapefruit, grapefruit rind, orange, apricot, papaya, underripe pineapple, pine and herbal notes. Medium bodied, light side of medium carbonation, dry finish with a lingering bitter bite.
