Designed for an extended rest in oak barrels; the base beer is double mashed, and brewed with a plethora of caramel malts, dehusked roasted barley, chocolate wheat and flaked oats. After filling American oak bourbon barrels generously provided by our friends @taconic_distillery, we cold conditioned the remaining beer in stainless for two weeks on whole Madagascar vanilla beans. Prior to packaging, the beer was briefly rested on Colombian La Esperanza oak fermented coffee beans that were sourced and delicately roasted by our friends at @seycoffee. Lush bodied with notes of milk chocolate, caramel, roasted malt, warm vanilla and cherry cordial.
