A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a finger high dark tan head that quickly settled down, leaving a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of chocolate are present in the nose along with hints of vanilla beans.
T: The taste is similar to the smell and has flavors of chocolate malts and coffee along with notes of vanilla beans.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and a little smooth and fluffy on the palate with a moderate amount carbonation.
O: This beer seemed a lot lighter in body for what I would have expected for a beer of this strength.

Can to snifter.
LOOK: deep dark black, super thick look, big velvety head with medium cappuccino color, fades, but has great retention. Legs and small bubbles. very pretty.
AROMA: medium roasty malt, some raw barley, coffee, vanilla, toll house cookies.
TASTE: fudgy brownie, coffee, pastry, " Dunkin' Donut French Crueller ".
FEEL: silky smooth, muted carbonation. fullest of full body. " Dunkin' Donut French Crueller".
Very good coffee stout. the french crueller donut thing is interesting. There is a strange pasty residue finish whenever I get a Dunkin' Donut French Crueller. And there is a floury sugary taste that I associate with that donut as well. I both taste it and feel it in this beer.
