Poured from a can (no date, released 18Dec2020) into a R+B glass
L: completely opaque, creamy light yellow orange with a nice white head. Fades after a couple minutes, nice chunky lacing after each sip - figure that’s the higher protein oat/wheat bill?
S: smooth and inviting tropical aroma, with a nice bit of bitterness cutting through the sweeter fruit aroma. Get mango and pineapple with a citrusy orange/grapefruit bitterness playing against the tropical notes. Bit of papaya/guava as well, melon, coconut, some peach?
T: delivers the nose very well, most notable thing is how smooth and balanced the flavor is. Get that great mango/pineapple flavor up front with some more melon character, nearly creamy (coconut note?), the grapefruit/orange citrusy bitterness following closely and through the medium finish
F: medium+ body, medium carbonation, very smooth as mentioned almost creamy, slightly drying from that bitterness. Having my last can now (14Jan2020) and I could practically chug
O: excellent DIPA, as expected. Flavor and nose are both great - less punch you in the face with tropical notes, more perfectly balanced aroma and flavor wave after wave
