Poured from a can (02Dec2021) into a R+B glass

L: pours a completely opqaue, lighter yellow orange. Great dense white head, tons of tiny bubbles. A+ lacing left with each sip, huge and thick

S: aroma is fairly meh. There’s some interesting tropical fruit lurking if I shove my nose in, some mango/orange/pineapple. I get a weird, almost funky aroma - like fuel fumes, peaty scotch almost. Pretty strange - almost like a smoked helles? I can’t kick it

T: yeah like the nose, I’m confused by this swallow. I get some fruit to open, but then this gasoline fume/peaty scotch thing comes right back. Now that I’m thinking about it I can’t kick it! There’s also a building and not exactly pleasant bitterness that comes through in the middle and builds through the finish. Not really sure what to say here - it’s a confusing sip, and not a particularly good one at that

F: medium carbonation, medium+ body. Pretty smooth, slightly astringent feel to the finish which ain’t great

O: disappointing brew. While the fumes died down somewhat from the first can I can ~5 days post canning, it’s still roughly the same today (30Dec2021) - oh well
