Served in a snifter glass from the can which i picked up at the brewery today.
Appearance: Cloudy, it's an opaque gold with a white head which rose just about 6mm off the body.
Smell: aromatic citrus skin. Disappears quickly but Jesus even with a stuffy nose it's delightful. Sweet to the nostrils coming off like grapefruit juice fresh squeezed in a glass.
Taste: Very complex brew, very hoppy but not super bitter. Smooth oatmeal. It's like a French brioche bun with doses of malt.
Mouth: smooth the soft combination and it ridiculously sticky aftertaste.
Overall: honestly I'm going to have to go back to the brewery to buy at least two more four packs this week, root and branch have outdone themselves. By far one of the best ipas I have had this year. Salud!
