Pours to a thin white head and typical cloudy whitish yellow color. Aroma is banana dominant with a bit of sharp what tang in there for good measure. Flavor is watery, clove and banana and dry wheat bite with a slight sweetness to balance the sharpness. Mouthfeel was light and watery. Good CO2. Overall, this beer was tasty, a but weird, but for the brew-pub parameters they have to work with in Oklahoma, it is a decent little Hefe.

A nice name and cool label but a disappointing beer.
Served involuntarily with a lemon.
Worth noting that between this review and previous ones the business changed ownership I believe.
A - Cloudy but not with yeast. No head at all (not uncommon for the style). No lacing at all. Overly filtered I'm guessing.
S - Lemon (thanks for putting that there guys) Aluminum can smell. Faintly dying pale malts.
T - Lemonade, flat soda, corn sugar. Aftertaste was bitter but without flavor (like stale coffee)
M - Loose watery.
D - See above items. A very poor showing.

It is been awhile since I've been to Belle Isle so I'm very pleased with how much this beer has improved. Much more hazy appearance (and a bright gold with a white head), fantastic aroma that is appropriate for the style (with a little bit of banana and spices). The flavor is still on the tame side for a hefeweizen but it is much improved and definitely good. More spices this go around but also surprisingly dry. Some grapefruit and banana notes.
Mouthfeel is thin-medium but nicely carbonated.
Overall this is one of the better local hefeweizens I've had.

Enjoyed on tap at the brewery (served with a lemon, but that's ok by me for a heffeweizen --- but bear in mind that might affect my tasting of it).
Hazy pale yellow with ok head.
Crisp refreshing wheat beer with a nice citric tang (probably a mix of the lemon and the malt). Seems more carbonated than the other Belle Isle offerings.
Excellent on a hot summer day. My only criticism would be that it could do with a tad more body (a common complaint at Oklahoma 3.2 brewpubs unfortunately)

On tap at the brewery. Pours a cloudy yellow hue with a slight head. Has a spicy sweet malt smell. Light to medium bodied with nice carbonation. Taste is of sweet tart malts and spices.I'm kind of surprized no one has reviewed any brews from here, they're pretty good.
