This brew’s claim to fame is that it “tastes like beer”. Well, I sure hope it does. This one is part of the core range at Tallboy and Moose so it must have earned its place.

As you can see, the beer is a nice looking pale lager with a golden colour and pretty clear. The head forms reasonably loose and leaves very little lacing on the stein. Grainy aromas with a bit of lemon or citrus. A touch of floral from the hops come through as well.
A very clean and lean lager. I think I see where they are coming from with the catch line of “tastes like beer”. There is not much in the way of surprise, just a straightforward sessionable lager. My Dad would call this a good drinking beer, and he’d be right. There is something to be said about a simple beer that anyone can enjoy.
A slight amount of spice with a light cracker taste. A malt sweetness with a crisp cut off. The mouthfeel is light with a carbonic bite with a very short finish.
Cheers
