The dark comes out a quite nice caramel color, with a thick tan head. The head disappears quickly, though, leaving no traces of its existence. Several sniffs failed to detect much of a nose at all. The mouthfeel was thin and malty. The taste is all malt, and that's how it finishes - sweet, grainy, no hops. It's drinkable, but there's no excitement here.
