Utterly clear amber brew with a nice pile of foam in the Duvel tulip. Oops! time for a refill. Chinook, Centennial, and Mosaic are the hops listed. Aroma of pine, with a hint of peach. Light body and prickly, rather than creamy, carbonation. Some berry seed astringency and hints of lemon sharpen up the light malt.
Sort of crackery, like a Pale Ale. There is a peppery note as well. Very drinkable stuff, not what you'd call bitter, but pleasantly aromatic. From the 32 oz growler filled cheerfully at the brewpub in... uh, it's somewhere out there in the northeastern tangle.

I had this beer on-tap in a nonic at the brewery.
Appearance: medium gold with a dash of haze and a thin layer of ivory foam. Not bad.
Smell: a light dash of earthy hops; not a ton of character but welcoming enough.
Taste: quite bitter, with a mild sweetness and an earthy character. This beer is bracing, yet smooth. Not a showcase of hop flavor, but bitter and refreshing.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: a very interesting beer; I imagine that this bitter but not floral IPA is closer to the origins of the style than most other IPAs out there today.
