Poured from growler into a tulip.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a little bit of haze and a finger of frothy ivory foam. A decent-looking beer!
Smell: grassy, noble, earthy hops with just a hint of citrus character. Not too bad, but not especially bold.
Taste: hops are earthy and dank, with a rather malty undertone. There's something about the hops here that feel ... overboiled or something. It's not terrible, but it could use some improvement.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I just can't get past the issues I feel with the hop character; it's not over-bitter, but the hop character feels flat or over-extracted or something. It's hard to describe.
