Very nicely foamy in the Kasteel chalice. Color is exactly like whipped honey. Delightfully sudsy in the mouth, which helps keep the murk stirred up. Aroma of pineapple, and more in the flavor. Citrus peel and a moderate bitterness. Mineral and yeast in the finish.
Reminds me too much of the sludge in the bottom of the carboy, but it is so lively and fruity I can find some pleasure. It would just be such a better beer made as a "straight" IPA. From the 32 oz growler they were happy to fill at the brewery in the northern suburbs.
