With a name like this, I'm expecting a rich, sweet, imperial stout. Yes, it delivers. It might just be too over the top for my taste. It's s a beautiful looking beer - a super dark reddish brown with a colorful head that tells you this is going to provide a mouthful... Independent it does. Maple syrup, coffee, french toast with cinnamon, chocolate syrup, vanilla, and more maple syrup. It's probably unfair to call this beer over the top, but it is. It's supposed to be. It's a one and done kind of beer that is insane enough that you should try... But 8 ounces is enough. More than that, is too much of a good thing. It's like adding triple syrup to your Starbucks latte order.
