Pours an apple cider color with two fat fingers of dense, tan-colored head. Settles into a wisp and crown with some scuzzy lacing.
Big mixed berry, marshmallow and saccharine in the nose.
The fruit is much more muted in the taste, giving way to a watery, earthy tea-like bitterness in finish. Some residue of the marshmallow sweetness and berry does commingle with the tea in the aftertaste, though.
Strange mouthfeel, like the liquid is levitating over the tongue rather than sitting upon it. Lively carbonation.
The nose is about what I expected, but I found the tea-like bitterness and marshmallow incongruous in the taste. Maybe with berry alone it might have worked better.
