On tap at Queen City Craft and Gourmet. Dark brown color. Mild lacing, no head. Smells of clove and cinnamon. Flavor is muddled peppery cloves. Not good. Medium mouthfeel.

16 oz 2022 can (February 2022 canning date stamped on the bottom) from the Wall of Beer in Clemson SC ($4.29).
Appearance. Starting with the can, it was ominously bloated, looking like the contents would burst out of the top at any moment. Perhaps it's a can defect?
... no such luck. Pulling the tab caused an immediate rise of foam over the top and only a small amount could be poured into my oversized .7L beer glass due to the excessive head. Otherwise the beer looked OK but, no surprise, contamination was obvious in both the flavor and the aroma. Alas, I was looking forward to this stout.
