Consumed 06/27/08, listed as 5.5% ABV on menu.
Very dark but clear brown with a creamy, one finger head.
A roasty, choclate aroma delights the nose.
The flavor is rich: somewhat sweet and a bit malty. Chocolate and over roasted coffee are the other ingredients apparent to my palate. It is well-carbonated, making the tasting experience lively. Smooth and easily drinkable, with a touch of coffee bitterness and maybe even a tiny little bit of sourness at the end.
Good stuff.
