Consumed 06/27/08, listed as 5.5% ABV on menu.

Very dark but clear brown with a creamy, one finger head.

A roasty, choclate aroma delights the nose.

The flavor is rich: somewhat sweet and a bit malty. Chocolate and over roasted coffee are the other ingredients apparent to my palate. It is well-carbonated, making the tasting experience lively. Smooth and easily drinkable, with a touch of coffee bitterness and maybe even a tiny little bit of sourness at the end.

Good stuff.

Good quality porter very high in chocolate taste with strong espresso twist on the tongue pours midnight black. So dark and pure
Layers rim the glass as I devour this beast good even on a hot day with no air conditioning
although this place is limited right now due to construction they still had good cold beer and friendly people
