Sampled 10/16/2010 at the brewpub.
Pours dark red/brown, clear, off white head that falls fast but laces the glass well.
Aroma is roasty, sweet, and chocolatey with a little dark fruit.
Flavor is of roast, chocolate, caramel, dunkel lager, high bitterness, and a bit of plum. Picture 2/3 dunkel lager and 1/3 American stout.
Body is light and this is enjoyable.
