Sampled 10/16/2010 at the brewpub.
Pours black with good tan head and good retention but no lacing.
Aroma is smoke, milk, chocolate, and a little booze.
Flavor is roast, smoke, milk, and a little chocolate. Lots going on but the roast and smoke are a bit distracting. The milk is more hidden in the background than the defining characteristic of the beer.
Body is heavy and viscous. Drinkability is there even it's not to style.
