I love a good spicy beer but more importany it's about the only kind of brew my wife will drink. This thing definitely undersells itself until it hits your tongue and then BAM it's there to stay for a few minutes but not unpleasantly so. Loved it and came back to get a second

Sampled 10/16/2010 at the brewpub.
Pours hazy yellow, low white head that doesnt last long and leaves no lacing.
Aroma is spicy, raw pepper, some wheaty sour lemon, and a touch of booze.
Flavor is pretty much all raw pepper. Some "hefe" (APWA) wheat/lemon/garbage going on in the background.
Body is medium and painful to drink. I was very tempted to get a growler of this as it's only $15 out the door with new glass. Next time I stop in I'll get which ever Hot Shot beer they have on. Share the pain.
