Three Four Beer Co.

this place is awesome, and its come a long way since they first opened it. it used to be a pretty bare bones taphouse, guest beers only for a long time while they got their own little system up and running. now its about a 50/50 split between excellent local, regional, and national craft brands and house brews. the little space has also evolved nicely, dark wood, low light, relaxed seating arrangement, and some plants and sculpture elements too with a clear view right through the back to the brew house. its a gorgeous little space, clean and cozy at the same time, mellow for sure, i like the energy here a lot. i only had time for one beer, but it as a great one, a coffee vanilla porter called flight of the beagle that was excellent and really coffee forward. their other beer looks mostly traditional but just inventive enough to be attention grabbing, at least for me, and ill have to go back and drink through the rest of their lineup. service was fine in here, friendly but mostly unremarkable, which i guess can be a positive thing in a place like this. this is a cool spot, and now that they have their own beers flowing, its definitely worth checking out. super relaxed during the daytime, but i could see it packing out at night with its proximity to the college and all.
