500ml bottle. Weizen glass. Golden color, foggy appearance. Foamy head, white in color leaves some lacing. Hints of fresh bread, light yeasty & malty aromas rounded by intense phenolic notes as well as a subtle ripe banana. Sweet upfront yields to slight citric flavors. Medium to light body. Moderate to high carbonation. Dense to watery texture. Unexpected moderate hoppiness lingers into a sweet malty finish. Refreshing.

Appearance: nearly opaque with a pale orange colour. The head is white, substantial and frothy. Not so long head retention and little lacing.
Aroma: fruity nose. A mixture of citrus and cloves. Quite pleasant.
Taste: nice taste of sweet malts, wheat, yeast, citrus and cloves.
Mouthfeel: smooth, average carbonation, average alcoholic strength and a medium to full body.
Finish: reasonably long aftertaste. It starts sweet and fruity and turns to bitter after awhile.

Overall: very nice beer. Refreshing and complex. Worthy trying. I missed the banana flavour typical of the style…

BB Mar 06. Nice head that's overwelming and lasting. Beer is whiteyellow and very clouwdy. Nose is very much 4-venylguiyacol. This green nose overpowers all the other aromacomponent so hardly any sourness or wheatflavor detectable. Also a shortage of bananna's for this style. Taste is again green as hell but maltyness, wheatcarracter and hops now niticeable. Good carbonisation makes mouthfeel ok and easy drinkable.
