Excellent selection for anyone who likes IPA but hates the latest trend of making them hazy, and taste like orange juice. This Pacific Northwestern IPA has a malt backbone without the often accompanying too-sweetness. It is hopped without the citrus hops that dominate the style these days. This is a nice, every day IPA for the people like me for whom descriptors like "tropical," "juicy,' and "citrus" are repellant. There may be hints, but they aren't overpowering. Not too bitter, like IPAs can be (Stone). Have only ever had this from a 12 oz. can, and have purchased many a 6-pack over the past year. If you like a good IPA that doesn't remind you of lemons and oranges, this is one to try.
