Poured from 12oz can into a heavy glass mug. No date on the can.
Appearance: pale straw hue with a clear body and a nice effervescence. Head is a finger of fizzy ivory foam that didn’t stick around super long.
Smell: kind of an almost-sour graininess with hints of corn. Not the most amazing thing out there, but given that there’s not any kind of weird off-aroma, actually pretty good for the style.
Taste: lightly sweet with a grainy malt quality and a little bit of corniness. The hops aren’t super bitter, but there is a very mild sort of noble hop character here. For the style, it’s actually quite well balanced.
Mouthfeel: medium-light body with an okay carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: like I said, while this isn’t the most flavorful beer in the world, it’s definitely something I could drink plenty of at the beach.
