Served in a snifter glass from a 32 oz crowler which I picked up at the brewery one week ago.
Appearance: Super cloudy brew, pale yellow color with a thick white bubbly head which had an initial rise of maybe one fingers length off the body.
Smell: Bland floral aroma. Comes and goes and as the beer warms up the hoppy scent does increase.
Taste: The name does not lie, the beer comes off super juicy and semi sweet. Think of mandarin oranges and pink grapefruit, light notes of melon with little bit a piney bite.
Mouth: Soft carbonation, sticky body.
Overall: Awesome Brew, makes me wish I bought two crowlers but extremely happy to share this little monster with the family. Always in a glass, salud!

Pours an opaque dirty straw color with a thin film of head. The nose has some modest orange and grapefruit noted. The citrus fruits are much more pronounced in thd flavor profile than on the nose. The finish is more pulpy and pithy than hoppy.

Hoppy National IPA Day from The CANQuest (tm)! I CAN really only get one (1) beer in per day what with working 10.5 hours/day x 6 days/week so it needs to be well-chosen. Today's is a CANtinuation of the brewery horizontal of these guys that I CANpleted recently. I just scored this (& a couple of others) at Rieker Bottle Works & it is perfect for this auspicious ocCANsion.
From the CAN: "Doose Juicy Double IPA"; "Proudly brewed in Camp Hill Central Pennsylvania"; "Estd MMXVI"; "Imperial version of our Joose Juicy IPA, an intensely dry hopped DIPA. Super easy to drink & loaded with juicy tropical fruit aromas."
I beCAN by Crack!ing open the vent to begin a slow, gentle C-Line Glug into the awaiting glass. It foamed wonderfully to form two-plus fingers of dense, foamy, rocky, bone-white head with very good retention, leaving loads of nice lacing in its wake. Color was an oh-so-slightly-hazy Yellow-Gold (SRM = 4 - 5) & the question arose as to chill haze from my cold reefer into a warm room or subtle (if any) filtration? Hmm. Nose was as advertised with a mélange of tropical fruits as well as a pine bitterness. I got mango & papaya most prevalently, but also guava & passionfruit to round things out. Mouthfeel was big, full & thick, like a dollop had been scooped into my mouth & onto my tongue. The taste was almost all tropical fruits, but there was a slight edge, not exactly pine, but something with enough bitterness to keep it from derailing. Mmm. I'd be curious as to its measured IBUs, but no matter. I was satiated & celebratory on this auspicious ocCANsion. Finish was semi-dry & that is where I would have liked a bit more bitterness. Oh well. YMMV.

Undated (WTF) can into pint glass. Pours a slightly hazy orange-amber with a modest, persistent off-white head. Initial impression is orange, mango, caramel, grapefruit, and a touch of maybe vanilla? Mouthfeel is medium, as is carbonation. Finish is slightly sweet. Overall, a pretty decent but unremarkable DIPA.

Orangish-yellow in color with hazy, unfiltered appearance. Pored with a moderate white foam with medium retention. Pithy citrus orange and over-ripe tangerine aromas with papaya and sweet fruit. Medium light malt aromas. Medium bodied with medium light carbonation. Light creamy smooth feel followed by expanding boozy warmth to the end. Variety of citrus flavor, orange, papaya, mango melon…very tasty. Medium light malty flavors. Medium light bitterness. Finished with boozy warmth and papaya-like, meaty fruity sweetness and light maltiness. Lots of fantastic fruity hop flavors balanced with light bitterness and booziness. Higher abv is well hidden. Flavorful and easy.

If you like rich, sweet, smooth, and tropical DIPAs, buy this beer. It’s basically a pineapple orange juice smoothie.
